The World’s Most Expensive Chocolate Bar

August 11th, 2009 by Brian

The chocolate bar is called the Wispa Gold. It costs about £961.48. The chocolate bar is actually a special bar that has been re-inserted in the market by popular demand. But this time around, it will come out via special edition and covered in gold leaf.

The Wispa was actually around in the 1950’s. However, when Cadbury launched the Dairy Milk in 2003, the Wispa was discontinued. Today, it is back but with a twist, a golden twist if you may.

The said Wispa Bar is now displayed at a jewelry department for promotional purposes. After this, the candy bar will be auctioned off to approximately about the value of an actual gold bar. Talk about crazy, who would buy such a thing? Who else? The rich and famous of course!
