Seaplanes have always offered a flexible form of travel to reach those far off places. And now, you can arrive at those destinations in classic style with Viking’s revival of the classic de Havilland Twin Otter Turboprop. This new floatplane is very similar to the old one, which featured sturdy versitility, only this one has been outfitted with modern technology to imropve safety and performance.
The Twin Otter 400 series can be flown at 80 to 160 knots and is ideally suited for flying in all climates and conditions. It can seat up to 19 people and the 52ft high winged, un-pressurized, twin Pratt & Whitney turbine engines will take you and some friends to just about anywhere with its wheels, floats, skis or tundra tires. The Viking Twin Otter can be yours for a mere $3.8 million.
