The Jaeger-LeCoultre Hyrbis Mechanica Watch Set
July 6th, 2009 by Simon Salt
This limited edition Hybris Mechanica Grand Sonnerie is the world’s most complicated watches and costs $2.5 million. Don’t worry, you also get two other highly intricate Jaeger LeCoultre watches - the Gyrotourbillon and Reverso. The set of three watches arrives in a safe as a presentation box, which is also likely to be the largest watch safe too. Jaeger LeCoultre collaborated with the German luxury safe company Doettling for this watch safe.
It looks a lot like a travel chest, the safe stands six feet tall and weighs 1,800 pounds. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica set safe has eight watch winders and three lighted holes that house the three watches. The remainder of the space inside the safe could accommodate other things. The safe also includes magnifying glasses and tools for the watches inside. Only 30 units available worldwide, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Hyrbis Mechanica watch set will go for $2.5 -$3 million.
