The materials used alone is something we rarely come across, but the price for this Peacock Dress is extremely outrageous. Those busy in shopping for their D-day might want to take a look at another expensive wedding ensemble: the $1.5 million Peacock dress unveiled at the wedding expo held in Nanjing, capital of east China’s Jiangsu Province.
The wedding dress decorated with 2,009 pieces of peacock feathers took eight handicraftsmen two months to finish. Though peacock motifs or feathers sure add a classic touch to one’s personality no matter how they are worn; on a hat, dress, in jewelery or even a clutch.
