Space Rock Worth $148,000?
July 15th, 2009 by Brian
When it comes to collecting, once an item is rare, expect it to be worth astronomically high. And for rare collectors, space rocks are certainly something that may not even be included. However, it seems that we have some people collecting these “space rocks” but mind you, they cost!
A rock such as this one, the Hambleton rock which was named after the district in which it was found, is expected to fetch as much as $148,000. Classified as a pallasite, it is composed of a certain stone and iron.
Regardless of what the composition is, would you be crazy enough to buy such a rock? Well if you are that an avid collector, go for it. But may I remind you, it’s gonna cost ya!
