Shaquille O’Neal’s Miami Mansion Finally Sells- $2 Million Loss Reported

It looks like Shaquille O’Neal has finally sold his Miami mansion for $16 million which is $2 million less than he paid for it. The basketball star purchased the Star Island home in 2004 for $18.2 million, and initially listed it for sale back in 2005 for $32 million. The home was then listed at $29 million, then the price dropped to $22 million before going back up to $25 million, then down to $22.5 million.

The Miami Herald has reported that the new owner is apparently a European businessman with plans to renovate the estate. The Mediterranean-style main house has eight bedrooms, gym, indoor basketball court, steam room and sauna while the 2.5 acre grounds hold a six-car garage, guest house, tennis court, dock and pool complete with a Superman logo.
