Scandal Sandals and Lady Slippers On Display

Scandal Sandals and Lady Slippers: A History of Delman Shoes is currently on display at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Devoted to the Delman brand, this is one of the oldest salon footwear brands in the U.S.
A pair of multi-colored and floral footwear from the 1950s lead the display over at the museum. Scandal Sandals and Lady Slippers: A History of Delman Shoes has been organized and curated by graduate students of FIT’s Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, Museum Practice program. Viewing will be from March 9 to April 3, 2010.
