Poseidon Undersea Resort
April 18th, 2009 by Simon Salt
The world’s first underwater luxury resort, The Poseidon, is nestled in a Fijian lagoon. It’s cantilevered over the sea floor in 40 feet of water and is accessible by a central shaft elevator. The resort has twenty-four 550 square foot luxury suites, a 100 seat bar and restaurant and another unit with an undersea library, a Presidential Suite, two spa treatment rooms and a wedding chapel/conference room combination.
Beginning in 2010 you can purchase a travel package that will include 4 nights in a luxury beach villa, 2 nights in an undersea suite, meals, scuba diving or snorkeling, wine tasting classes, just to name a few. The cost for this 7 day, six night package will be $15,000 per person.
