Hoesch Water Lounge

Bathrooms get more luxurious every year, with many features unheard of just five years ago now standard in move upscale homes. NOA Design is kicking it up a notch with the debut of the Hoesch Water Lounge. Not exactly a bathtub but smaller than a spa, the water lounge is actually a surprising hybrid bathtub/lounge which allows the user to lie back on a metallic chair equipped with ergonomic supports. Through spaces in the support, bubbles from a special air chamber provide an air massage– not exactly a whirlpool, but not bad either.

The entire system is on display in a transparent tub cube that has a bit of a space age feel, and a halogen light hangs over all of it. A bit austere, perhaps, the Hoesch Water Lounge is sure to start turning up in renewed bath suites everywhere. If you have to worry about how you clean this thing, you definitely can’t afford it.
