Nike Air Force 1 Shoes
April 5th, 2009 by Brian

Nike is a familiar name in the sporting shoe business and apparently while their brand name can be mistaken for another type of basketball shoe, it seems to be leaning more on the fashion binge rather than sports.
The new version of the popular Air Force 1 was created through a program in which Nike invited 18 innovators to re-imagine the shoe. Maharam, the 107-year-old American textile house created a shoe constructed of Layers, a textile created by the Maharam Design Studio in collaboration with Dutch designer Hella Jongerius.
Layers are made of 100% wool felt fashioned with artisanal hand-cutting and embroidery. The result is a limited edition sneaker that radiates subtle cool. The shoe sells for $250.
