Magniflex Gold & Platinum Mattresses

Magniflex has taken the phrase “precious sleep” literally. The Italian mattress maker has come out with a bedding line made out of precious metals such as gold and platinum. The gold mattress is made with a 22-carat gold yarn cover, and features the company’s patented Memoform Core, which conforms to the shape of the body with up to 85 percent accuracy. Magniflex says the physical properties of gold render the mattress anti-bacteria, anti-stress and anti-dust mite, anti-inflammatory, and odor-free.
It does carry a price tag of $24,000, and each mattress comes with matching gold pillows priced at $1,000 each. Raising the bar on its own luxury collection, Magniflex has added the Platinum version, which essentially boasts the same features as the gold version, however the platinum version starts at $75,000.
