Luxury Green Homes

Aqua Liana is best selling author and real estate dare devil Frank McKinney’s latest creation: A $29 million ‘green mansion.’ McKinney is banking on green luxury being the next hottest trend in real estate. His creation debuts this February, Friday the 13th, and is the first home of its size to be certified green by the rigorous environmental standards of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Florida Green Building Council. Aqua Liana is set on 1.6 acres on the Florida coast with over 150 feet of private beach front.
Special features of the home include environmental lighting systems that save 70% over the conventional kind, renewable woods that come from forests that regenerate every three years, air conditioning and air purification systems that are four times more efficient than the average hospital operating room, and a system of pools, reflection ponds, water features and misters that keep the Aqua Liana property 3 degrees cooler than surrounding properties, even outdoors.
