Lamborghini Estogue Shelved

People eagerly awaiting the release of the $200,000 masterpiece Lamborghini Estoque are surely going to be disappointed as the said car will be shelved for now. No thanks to the current state of the world economy, it does seem to be a bad time to unleash such a luxury vehicle into the market.
Autocar quotes Maurizio Reggiani, the firm’s head of research and development, as saying the timing and market conditions aren’t right for the project. Lamborghini had just gotten going on the Estoque so it was early enough in the conception stages that no serious money was lost. For now Lamborghini will concentrate on the Gallardo and Murcielago leaving the Estoque as a potential project to be reconsidered at a later date.
