Dual Quad Desk

April 10th, 2009 by Brian

Whether this desk was designed on purpose or not is really crazy but the Dual Quad Desk does magnify that lovable move character Wall-E. Only three examples of this desk were made, in private collections in the U.S. and UK.

This transformer robot desk is done in stained and lacquered birch plywood. The designer says that the one pictured above is the baddie. There’s another in blond timber and covered with a sort of pictorial time capsule of the earth.

If you are into robotics and transformable furniture, the Dual Quad desk can be commissioned for a whopping £11,100 (approx. US $16,255)
