Blackstone Carmel Resort Sold, To Become High End

The 400 acre golf resort located near Carmel, California has been sold. The resort sold for $20 million to an investment firm with John Pritzker at its head. He is the founding partner of Geolo Capital out of San Francisco and the son of the Hyatt Hotel founder, Jay Pritzker.

The Carmel Valley Ranch will receive a $25 million upgrade. The plans include renovations to the already luxurious accommodations and the addition of a spa on premises. An organic vegetable garden will be added as will an infinity pool just outside the lobby. The facility has amazing views which can be seen from the new location of the pool. The property has 144 rooms and is sure to dazzle guests looking for a luxurious getaway.
