World’s Second Largest Pearl to be Auctioned

The world’s second largest pearl is set to be auctioned on December 6 at the Bonham Auction House. The human-brain shaped pearl weighs five pounds and was found along the coasts of the Philippines and was dubbed as the Palawan Princess. The pearl is said to be valued between $300,000 to $400,000. The pearl is next only to the largest pearl known in the world called the Pearl of Allah which weighs 14 lbs.
